INTRODUCTION

Since 1989, Robert-Jan van SANTEN and VS-A GROUP® companies have been developing tailor-made solutions for innovative architectural projects, designed by some of the most imaginative Architects. By doing so, we have been consistently challenging ourselves to generate outstanding ideas. While many have been constructed, many others have been postponed, deemed technically infeasible or outright rejected. However this process has allowed us to accumulate a plethora of fresh ideas.

All aspects of Design portray facets of our approach. The use of sophisticated software calculations are often mandatory, but we like to mix them with more pragmatic approaches. Testing is part of every project, and most of the early stage testing is done in-house. R&D naturally includes the collaboration with universities, or specialists as is deemed necessary on a project by project basis.
